The costs of software piracy...

A great article, places dollar figure on pirated software. A lot of software vendors probably motivated to study solutions...such as WAVX meters.

Marty,

I was addressing your previous post:
Message 4880286
". I do wish, however, that our chip was
somehow useful to everyone. It's not useful to the many who do not have credit cards.
Our technology should work with diligence to facilitate several payment methods rather
than expect everyone to simply make an almost magical transition to one platform which
itself complicates even conventional credit card use. "

I think that there are endless options when it comes to payment options. You are right, why couldn't WAVE be authorized to access someone's checking account? My car loan payment has that option. Just have to give Ford permission to automatically withdraw the payment every month. Any other ideas and comments on payments systems other than credit cards?
