"I deny everything," Muffie said to a gentleman who had entered the room abruptly and mysteriously accused her of using "his" name. Evidently his name bore a resemblance to the nickname of sweet Michelle, who was at this moment scratching herself in an impolite area. "Had Michelle no sense at all about how to be an attractive person? What a loser," Muffie opined. She wondered also if the gentleman, who was very handsome indeed, had a sense of humor. She hoped it, as he seemed to her not only handsome, but intelligent and the type that would enjoy long walks on the beach. Stuff like that. The stuff you see in those personal ads, you know?
