The company announced that there will be a press conference at 11:00 am tomorrow to make a "very important announcement" regarding an alliance with intel....saw it on bloomberg news...stock could fly to 14 or higher tomorrow...we'll see

I would have left that guy out too!!! The NOVL press release about a partnership with Intel is extremely interesting. I'll see if anybody on the Intel thread will tell us what it is about. However from the release it sounds like it might just be the deal of the year for Novell. If Intel works with Novell to develop a better JAVA Intel based server then that cuts MSFT out of the non-proprietary JAVA market. Judging from the past, a JAVA that executes all JAVA vs a JAVA that runs only MSFT flavors correctly will ultimately win if it gets the endorsement of the company that is going to put the JAVA virtual machine into hardware eventually. Its a logical move for Intel and for Novell. I can't believe how many things Schmidt is able to accomplish. Lets hope this is an extensive partnership that they will announce. Very good news for the longs.
