>>AT...Sour grapes? <<

No bigg e! I would do what any one alive would do who wants to stay alive! Defend my turf and make sure I dont get run over by nuts with sunglasses driving lawn movers at night. Turning on the lights might help in this regard.

>>And quietly, the stock is being accumulated at these lower levels as weaker hands are shaken out.<<

Rofl, who you trying to kid?? The only ones accumulating are people like you. There is no big accumulation going on. And on that thought does anyone bother to read posts they dont want to hear? For the longest time when ever the subject of a short squeeze came up I kept saying no way.. When ever this accumulations came up I kept saying the shorts themselves are the ones accumulating to take out the buyers. This is called distribution in the sence that a lot more shares are being shorted.. Look at the A/D chart. The chart does not make much sence untill you look at it from a different perspective. The lack of share sto short aint gona keep the price from tanking. You are betting against some professionals who played this game many many times and I see them win all the ones I have watched.

>>You blame the VVUS management(or lack thereof) constantly. <<

Let me rephrase that.. Only a moron would get into the ring with only one glove when you know what the stakes are after everythings that happened.

And you can see what a good efficacy report and press release did today when most stocks were up 10% or more.. Wonder how I knew to post where the price would end up by close this morning on the gap up opening!

Oh yea the shorts who actually post here really have no clue, but momentum investing err shorting hath its previllages when you can ride the coat tails..

PS.. you should join the guy who bought 20000 shares of APM at 4 1/2 to squeeze the shorts a couple of days back..

bigg e.....are most shareholders upset that this stock has gone lower than they expected....YES.

Will it return when the scripts rise, the new plant is approved, foreign sales pickup, product is produced at lower cost.......

YES.

Will that all happen as fast as next week?? next qtr???? the 4th qtr?? or Early 1999???

If management was the only issue then the instutitional investors/Astra or Jannsen would have taken a stronger hand to push management aside....

The FDA plant approval is the real milestone that counts....
Astra and Jannsen will market the product overseas...

If Vivus can't do the same in the USA then they need to farm it out to a company that can do the job.

Holding long for the long term..........
