Not a bad article. I did find a few inaccuracies. It says <However, Microsoft recently announced that its DirectX 6.0 technology will fully support the new 3D instruction set. DirectX 6.0 will first appear in NT 5.0.> I understand that DirectX 6.0 will first appear under WIN 98 but is not included in the June 25th shipment. DirectX 6.0 is supposed to be shipped some time in July. WIN 98 has an on-line update capability and DirectX 6.0 can probably be uploaded from MS's site by clicking on the "Windows Update" icon on the main Windows 98 "Start" menu bar. It doesn't make much sense to have DirectX 6.0 available for WIN NT 5.0 which won't be available until the end of next year and not have it for WIN 98 - a more consumer oriented product.
