Microsoft Corp. (MSFT) gains 3 7/8 to 89 7/8. It plans to launch Windows 98 in Japan July 25.

Tape Action - Bullish. MSFT drives higher on expanding volume and good up tick volume.
Stock should move higher.

Dell Computer Corp. (DELL) spurts 4 3/4 to 85. There were reports Dell Computer is in talks
with Microsoft to build more custom personal computers.

Tape Action - Very Bullish. DELL is in a base but showing good accumulation now. The stock
looks poised to move higher.

International Business Machines Corp. (IBM) fell 2 1/4 to 110. Merill Lynch lowered its forecast
of IBM's second quarter earnings to $1.45 a share from $1.52. It trimmed 10 cents off its year
forecasting making it $6.35 a share.

Tape Action - Neutral. IBM declines but shows modest up tick volume. The stock should hold
at support at 108.

J.D. Edwards Inc. (JDEC) leapt 3 5/8 to 36 3/8. It software was picked up three paper firms for
use.

Tape Action - Modestly Bullish. JDEC has been in a correction with resistnace at 38. TTD sees
more basing work.
