AFTER the Bell, Applied warns!!!!!!! See below: . . . . Applied Films Corp. (AFCO) : developer and supplier of thin film coated glass for use in liquid crystal displays warns that it sees fiscal Q4 earnings of approximately $0.17 a share, well below the First Call estimate of $0.28 a share; in the year-ago period, it earned $0.22 a share; company expects slowdown due to Asia to extend through fiscal 1999..... Its not April's Fools day but I could not pass it up. Sorry to all those who are cardiovascularly challenged<GGG>
