Stitch, does TDK have GMR in development? I talked to WDC IR today and was told that they were planning on producing GMR drives that were not IBM designed in 1999 (this makes sense because these non-IBM designed drives will produce higher margins for WDC). I was told that all WDC head suppliers that "could execute" would be asked to supply heads. Have you heard anything about an APM plan to skip MR and go right to GMR?
