I was referring more to the IT issue. For embedded systems, there will be failures where people mistakenly assumed that everything was fine. Companies that take the corresponding hit are going to have to crawl through there systems to identify which chips were at fault, simply because they won't have the capital to replace the equipment. In other words, they will still need the type of services that TAVA provides. If they wish to remain a viable concern, they will have no choice but to address their Y2K problem, even though 1/1/2000 has come and gone.
Just as there is no magic bullet, there is no magic date after which existing problems conveniently go away. IMHO.
