Paul,

Intel has very good processors which they need to sell at unsustainable margins to keep their investors happy. The company is trapped between a rock and a hard place.

What is Intel going to do when Mendocino/Whitney runs Winstone faster than PII? They will have a choice of ceding the low end or cannibalizing themselves.
