david, you may feel free to skip my posts if you do not find them of value. And you may also believe anything that you like about my "following" MR. Pink. I have gained a much greater understanding about TAVA tonight because of the helpful folks here. Honestly, I've decided there are too many companies that have absolutely no prospect of, well, existing in a year or 2. And those company's are all more compelling shorts. You ought to address why you're so insecure with your long position though.

One day though, I'm sure I'll be back.

Barb

I've been aware of TAVA since it was TPRO, and have been interested in it as a potential short ever since CalculatedRisk mentioned it on one of the other threads.

I will admit tho, that all the recent noise on this thread, your posts in particular, caught my attention again.

BTW, did you ever come up with an answer to my question in this post:

you are saying that i am wasting time???? well that's easy to fix...don't read my posts!!!! are you one of the whiners that when a rather questionable future beyond y2k is brought up get all excited and gets holier than thou. why should i leave?

i just believe that valuations on tava are being made with y2k revs when they have no bearing in the long run. will mutual funds buy this? i doubt it as many are probably still licking their wounds from zitl and many others. i doubt it, but time will tell. the common link between the y2k companies whose stock does well and those that don't is the state of the core business. just because tava is specializing in chips rather than software is totally inmaterial. core business eps is not there right now. and unfortunately it may not show up till after y2k. and at that it's still speculation and i think both sides of the coin should always be looked at. all i see around here is a lot of people who appear to love tava and don't want to hear anything from people who question tava's future. this is a very bearish, contrary indicator by itself.

best

y2k hype. Justify 220mm valuation. Don't think you can.
