"I actually am not a great fan of Bebeto - the guy's a tad too frail..."

Frail but deadly<g>

"What ever happened to Romario? Is he injured?"

Yes. The coach did not take him because his injury would not be totally healed...Romario full of tears, a few days after he announced that he is fit to play, go figure. Did you see the hugs and kisses and smiles of Ronaldo after he set up Bebeto for the third goal? Ronaldo likes playing with Bebeto, regardless of what he says.

"I did notice Edmundo - he was playing in another zone - put about 8 Edmundos together and 3 other decent players and you have the way the US played Germany- SKITTISH..."

Yep. Did you read what Tab Ramos said after the game. He accused Sampson for not putting a more experienced team in the field. He also said more...I think he is taking charge here. Oh, Sampson said that he will start Ramos and Heidjuk against Iran. That's good but will it be enough? The 3-6-1 is proving to be a tragedy as we predicted. Hoping for the best. Watch for Iran to play like men on a mission from God, this is the BIGGEST game of their life.

"Even though I would not mind Morocco going through my sentimental favorite has to be Scotland at this time..."

It should be a classic. I want Morocco but I won't mind the Scots. How can you not like them, they always give it everything they got. Should be an interesting matchup against the inadequate finishing of the Scots with the incredibly spotty Moroccon defense.

"Any way some nice soccer today - this group has some of the best attacking minded teams around..."

Yes, except Norway which is proving to be again the biggest disapointment. I can't believe this team beat Brazil 4-2 in a friendly. They are playing like a bunch of bureaucrats!
