I don't know if Microsoft's buying stock back, but someone posted earlier that a VP bought 100K shares in the open market. If that's true, I believe that would be a very good sign. My guess is that Microsoft probably wouldn't chase its own stock. I'd bet that any corporate purchases would have happened in the low 80s, and the current buying is institutional.

I previously sold some calls against an option position and bought them all back when the whole market was down. I believe that the company would have used that same opportunity if they wanted to purchase.

It does seem to be showing quite a lot of strength.
