Tom: Of which the RCC traces its roots back to the first Pope: Peter. Besides, it was the ONLY christian church for centuries. Then the splits over dogma and politics with the Greek Orthodox and Russian Orthodox, finally the English Kings wanting divorce so they turned their back on the Holy See and instituted the Church of England. Of course there were also the Lutheran splits, the Methodist splits, Protestant, Baptist, and on and on and on, some killing each other over absurd points in the bible and how to interpret it. Bottom line: all are mystics. None are rational. All seek cover from reality and try to bend reality to fit their fantasies. FT
