ATTENTION -- CALLING ALL READERS..... Since Mr. F...and the other bashers..are so "up tight" about all this "so called" promotion... We should just start doing "our so called promotion" like "The BIG BOYS".....you know, the analysts, and professional stock promotion guys...like "Paine Webber, Merril Lynch, etc... EXAMPLE ======= "Rocketeers initiates coverage on Mountain Energy with a "BUY" rating...company anticipates further acquisitions to improve it's value, and is looking for a partner to joint venture production of said property.., yada, yada, yada" Mr. F....stock promotion goes on every day...and you KNOW IT..do you honestly think that some of the insiders that put out these "buy" and "sell" ratings on stocks don't "load up" or "dump" before they put out these ratings......I've seen stocks run or dump 4 or 5 points "EASY" on just a upgrade/downgrade alone.... Everyone responsible who puts out good information on one of these stocks, always says "in my opinion" or "do your own DD before investing"....If a person buys, he should do his own DD....and has no one to blame but himself/herself, if he loses money.....Never follow anyone blindly. ...Get real....we all know why you are here, AND IT AIN'T CAUSE YOU ARE TRYING TO SAVE US FROM "PROMOTION".......IN MY OPINION. Steve, For some reason, your post touched me as very few others ever have. It reminded me of that picture of that brave man over in China who stood alone against the tanks. Oh well, I don't want to get all mushy, but I truly hope that MTEI will reward you greatly. And you are right. One side here is right and the other is wrong. Let me tell you one reason, totally unrelated to finance as to why I think that the longs on this stock will be proven to be right. The three men on the board of MTEI have over 200 years of experience among them. But that is not why I feel the longs will be right. I believe that the longs will be right because these men have grandchildren. And these men have begun this endeavor partially because of those grandchildren. One does not begin an endeavor with your grandchild in mind, and intend for it to fail. These men are going to use their experience and they are going to use their contacts to help MTEI become as successful as they can. Don't you see? It's not because they have anything to prove...but as one becomes older, one begins to think of one's own mortality. And sometimes, one wants to build something for the future generations to come.
