Good evening Terrence,

Here's another one to chew on. The fundamentalists claim that the Bible is infallible and is the inspired word of God. Okay, now we come to the Word of God as presented in Leviticus, Numbers and Deuteronomy. Things like dietary laws and kosher laws and so forth. But along comes the New Testament where Paul repeals all of that stuff (presumably at God's urging). So was God wrong in the OT? Did he say "I screwed up and now it's do-over."? Or maybe Paul got it wrong (along with his schizophrenic attitude towards women). So we are presented with a dilemma. Either God is imperfect or the information in the Bible is imperfect.

These thoughts are too difficult to grapple with. Let's go out and stone an adulteress or two and burn some witches instead.
