QWEST SIGNS $100 MILLION BANDWIDTH PACT WITH CAIS

Qwest Communications International Inc. and Internet service provider CAIS Internet said Monday they had entered into a 10-year, $100 million agreement for Qwest to provide CAIS with leased and routed IP bandwidth on the 18,449-mile domestic Qwest Macro Capacity Fiber Network. The pact expands CAIS Internet's, a CGX Communications Co., nationwide Internet network from five to about 130 cities, helping facilitate CAIS's rollout of its OverVoice technology to hotels and apartment buildings across the nation,

COMMENT: And the stock goes down 2 « points. Ugh. The price of this stock is quite compelling here. We loved this one at $45 six months ago. It went to $60 and split 2-1, and now it's at $28 or so after hitting $40, post split. It's bigger now and has signed some very lucrative long term contracts. And Wall Street is down on it lately. We call this a Buying Opp.
