Too All,
GLOBALSTAR got a nice plug on Lou Dobbs tonight. Wonder if the public knows the affiliation to the Q?

Regards

Michael

P.S. Where is Gregg?

How about Qualcomm buys Motorola? There should be some synergy there and Motorola is looking cheap. Nobody is going to be able to buy Qualcomm - the price will go too high at the first hint of interest.

Talk about the minnow ($6B?) swallowing the whale ($30B?). Wouldn't it make much more sense for a deal with Nortel (or Lucent). Both offer switching and given their (ie Nortel's) support of Qualcomm in the early years, shouldn't they be entitled to first dibs. Let see Nortel, Bay and Qualcomm vs Ericsson, Motorola and ??? vs Lucent, Phillips and ???. The ??? could be COMS, ASND, Cisco or Cabletron. Other biggies?

You might be right about some sort of consolidation. However, the combinations seem endless. Let the games begin. nf
