What is HUI? No need to know if it is personal.

Jan and I have nothing personal. We stick strictly to stock talk and maybe some moral support when the market beats us up. AMZN is a good example.

The HUI is an American Exchange index of about ten gold mining stocks. One may write options agains the index but of course cannot own the index so settlement is always a cash settlement. The index will typically move with the price of gold and I have written naked 85, 90 and 100 puts against the index this month. The 100s were an error and a strike I neve did in the past. However, index options expire on Thursdays and so I still have two trading days to get back to 100. The index closed yesterday at 91.77. I have never lost a penny writing 90 puts or lower on the index and take in premium almost every month. It is great<G>
