Richard, I agree completely, which is why I am no longer short TAVA. There is a good chance that next Q numbers will be'good enough' for now and that could easily support the share price through another quarter. Any market sentiment turn up could also run the price up.

A good example of 'good enough' is ACLY. The CEO actually told us on CNBC that he expects to do $12m & $20m revenues in '98 & '99. Market cap over $100m. 30 employees. was doing c. $2m revenues before getting into Y2K. The stock is down 50% from its highs but still stands up at far too high a level as the last Q numbers were 'OK'.
