;-) thanks for the invite, lisa shweetie. I've thought about joining the BK game, but feel that being cut off from the market for all but the first two hours of the day, I'm at a disadvantage. I still am trying to play the market because I don't want to stop, but am still being very cautious.

I have to admit that I didn't go long when I closed my puts at 1080ish on tuesday. (mkt was dropping fast when I put my order in). The reason I didn't is because I took a look at the prices for calls and decided they were too expensive. For June calls for example, they wanted $10 for spx 1080 calls which were at-the-money, with only the remainder of tuesday, wed, and thurs left with which to trade them. I know, those are worth $27 now, but still. Then they wanted like $21ish for july 1080 calls, also at-the-money. I checked on the MSH calls also, but simply decided to pass on it. I think what I'll do now is just watch, and put in a limit order for puts either thursday or friday. I'm assuming thursday will be another spike up, with some dropping action, and probably the same for Friday.
