Joe or Def, does that news explain why the Treasuries are being dumped today. Or, some other dynamic is at hand here. Isn't about time the Japanese sell some bonds? Selling the treasuries will make good practical sense to the Japanese, IMHO. I know that Wall Street and Rubin may not like this idea. Perhaps this is why the Feds are selling $$ for Yen. Now, the question is that are these $$ newly minted? If so, what will happen to the world's only preserve paper? -g-
