Not be mention some "Window Dressing" to warm up the atmosphere prior Clinton's visit later on in the month...

Mike,

THis has happened just when I had changed my mind about China devaluing the Rmb because Japan has made no effort to stop the downward slide of the yen. As much as China wants to keep the yuan stable, they can only lose so much of the export market before they would have to do something.

If Japan does not take action soon, the US and Europe should start putting some pressures on them in the form of trade sanctions. It is rediculous that the US has to take action while they do nothing.

JMHO,
Ron
