BTW, what is the difference between demo trading and paper trading?

Key pushing vs. pen pushing.

The good thing about demo trading is you are forced to learn the keyboard, and buying and selling becomes natural, not a questionable decision to be thought about some more. As soon as you pause, you've usually blown your trade.

To make Demo trading more accurate though, you should always give up the spread; buy on the ask, sell on the bid. Right now Demo mode defaults to buying on the bid, selling on the ask. That makes for some false profits...and then you go real-time and get crushed, ironically by commissions.

Brent,

With papertrading you are making trading decisions and then recording those decisions as you "paper trade" through the day. With CyberTrader's demo mode you actually make those trades real time, using the keyboard or mouse inputs, just as you would if you were trading with real money. The only difference is your trades are not transmitted to the exchange floor. All the other modes work. You get to see your number of tickets, average ticket and open and closed profits just as if you were actually trading.

Another neat feature is that you can log on real time and make actual trades and if you want more training, you can log off then log back on in demo mode, all in the same day. I have found this feature to be of great benefit as I am learning.
