And VC' rarely do "seed" money-- and by the way it is called "Start-Up" not "seed", then you go to Mezzanine, 1st Stage, 2nd Stage... Or you could do a MBO or a LBO, or Corporate Equity, Divesture, Acquisition, etc... Most start-ups find an Angel for start-up money-- VC's won't unless you have a killer resume and patents, etc...
