Savoir,
I will jump in to say the following. This interventiion will not work and the smart money is on the other side of this intervention taking everything that the BOJ and Fed put out . The intervention by Rubin at $1.28 did not hold the slide and this will not either. Soros is there again IMHO,betting across the table from Rubin and the BOJ.

Japan is recalcitrant and they are not learning that the new world order has had it with their corrupt Nepotistic Financial System. When quality companies like Creaf disappoint because of the Asian problem despite Sim's fore knowledge and scrambling to bring new products to market the problem of Asia is now worsening and the full impact on Techs has not been felt yet. We will get out of this period but the worst is not over yet in the Tech selloff.
IMHO you are seeing a weak relief rally that will allow the smart money to sell into the July doldrums. The net flow into Mutual funds has money on the sidelines from June and that will provide the fuel that we are seeing.

Be careful the sharks are in the tank and they smell small investors blood in the water.
