Don't fight the tape or market sentiment regardless what any chart says. But intraday flux is anyone's call so it may work well.

In a fast moving market, keep a close eye for changing market sentiment and dynamics. Many at SI tried shorting AOL, YHOO, and AMZN at the pivotal range ...

These comments do not apply to any one averaging up into a fundamental short. FWIW a friend shorted ZITL about two years ago at 19+ on a fundamental basis, against the hype and mo-mo, rode it to the heights (check the chart, oh the pain) ... today ZITL is trading at 4+.
