Dave, I have two political driving motives. One is to never have pharoah type bosses who dispose of the plebs at their will. These people take various forms, Kings and Queens, born to rule and owner of all they survey, communist state thugs like Stalin, totalitarian bosses like Hitler, Hussein and so on and on and on through the litany of dominance heirarchies based on naked power through all of human history all the way back to chimpanzees. Communism appealed to me in my younger days because conceptually it is the community with all equal and blah blah blah. In practice, it becomes simply thuggery and confiscation and privilege for those who get to the top of the party. Combined with all the inefficiency of government which happens in the most benign democracy or free state. So now I'm libertarian by inclination. Adults dealing voluntarily with each other. The other and of course intertwined point is ownership of individual property including intellectual property. This is where the similarity with Nazism and other totalitarian regimes comes in - they confiscate property for the greater good. The common living standard for tribalists where individuals cannot own property and trade it under whatever terms they choose is a loin cloth. If you produce anything more than your basic immediate needs, they are certain to be confiscated by your own tribe or a neighbouring tribe. The terms were not derived by accident! Jews are not special. Any minority group gets picked on. Any property gets confiscated. The GSM groups are angling towards confiscation - talking greed, parasites, leeches, aggressive, etc etc etc ad nauseum. If you cannot own yourself or your property, you of course are not as badly off as being murdered, but the direction is the same. Best to stop walking off down that track at the beginning, because it leads nowhere else. We keep sheep. It is the same thing. People are not sheep to be kept and their property confiscated. Neither should sneering expression such as leeches, parasites etc be used if somebody chooses to keep their property for themselves. What do you think Tero? Maurice
