John - The only misconception that comes to my mind involves the Dofasco incident. On 11/11/97, TPI announced a Y2K engagement with Dofasco Inc, and stated that the contract would generate several million dollars in revenues. Someone from SI called Dofasco and was told a completely different story on how only 1 person from TPI was actually on site performing Y2K consulting type work.

Since that incident, TPI has not announced a dollar amount to any Y2k deal and honestly I don't blame them. The Dofasco incident came back to bite them in the ass. In my opinion, TPI optimistically stated what they anticipated to earn in the engagement, while Dofasco on the other hand, didn't want the world to know how much they were spending to fix their Y2K problem.

Dofasco is still a customer of TPI. They are still performing Y2k work for them. How much revenue has been earned thus far, I don't know. The financials will tell all.
