I agree that the annual meeting is an extremely important dynamic in the DELL stock price. However, it is still a month away, which allows a lot of time for the stock to go up, down, or sideways... Take a look at this. First look at yesterday's trading. Then at today's. DELL took an initial hike, then has traded almost flat while the market gained 150 points. Would you care to submit a theory other than expiration on Friday?

Datek on news about Dell says
"110.8% intraday volume acceleration detected for Dell"
(HD had 183% intraday volume acceleration)
Does this mean that whatever trend there was, had meaning, because there was high volume along with the trend?
If so, I wonder whether the high volume was when Dell was going up or down (up I imagine because it was in the morning.)
