Technically, today's trading does not portend well. The double-hump that ALTR has made since the beginning of the year is not a good thing. However, today's trading said nothing about the fundamentals. There is the usual rumor that ALTR is going to pre-announce. And we all know that they never pre-announce better than expected earnings. I don't give much to the rumor though. If we go down the tubes, it looks like XLNX will go down with us. And if we miss earnings we will really go down the tubes. I think you're right. Best to wait until earnings come out. If we go two more weeks without news, I will feel a little more comfortable. Are you just hedging with 30 puts?
