Eric. Wireless is now speechless.
I sure he wasn't expecting a comeback.
Great job.
Let them finish their pizza before they reply.

Eric,

I read a couple of days ago, the infrastructure is not in place for western coal as it is in the east....In other words, mining costs, shipping, etc. would be much higher. Coal mining has been going on in WV since before the turn of the century, and there are still HUGE reserves. Also, WV is much closer to shipping ports, as much of this coal is exported...WV exports more coal than any other state!!...It's a long train ride from Wyoming to the pacific to ship....

He's not comparing apples to apples...

I will give a report as soon as my "energy expert" talks to Jack today.

Lee

MTEI stock went from the upper teens ($.15~$.20) to $1 and beyond within a matter of DAYS. That is enormous pressure to sell to those getting in cheaply. I got in at $.18, $.45, and $.68, and am waiting for it to run back up. It may take time, depending on the company's next few steps. I do know that the coal market is good, the location of the reserves is ideal, the quality of the reserves in the area are excellent, and with the
proper leadership, money can be made. I keep seeing margins of 5% being bandied about... that's hogwash. Margins of 20% should be minimally expected. With the clean-air act, low sulfur coal is and should be in demand moreso than the others. I used to sell to TVA, and they'd buy every ounce of low-sulfur coal I could deliver. Even with scrubbers, sulfur is a nightmare, so we'll just have to wait and see. I wouldn't be surprised if MTEI never got
into the actual mining, but outsourced on a royalty basis. THAT'S the way to do it anyway, in my opinion.
