To get back on a positive track, I received the following interesting email from someone who is not an SI member. The key here is a description of the Zulu/ESVS offices. I'm pasting some excerpts [NOTE: I have deleted areas that would reflect the writer's identity and business]: "....As far as joining SI, I find myself spending to much time with it now just trying to keep up with whets going on, in order to protect my investment or add to it as events unfold or change ( or don't change). Anyway, I know I would wind up in some personal verbal battle of intellect with someone. "By the way, and since I'm on the subject, you can deliver a message to our buddy Jon. Please tell him that the whales, and the rain forest really need his help and attention. To waste his time trying to save us free thinking adults from ourselves is a shame. (enough said).... "Lets talk about Zulu, since I get more info from you, there is little I can add except this. I have sent [employee's name and title is deleted in order to protect the innocent] into Zulu office in El Segundo Ca. a couple of times.... "....[he/she] reports this: Very impressive office, very large, lots of employee cubicles/desks, stacks of checks on accts receivable girls desk( assumed accts/rec because of all the checks!) The first time [name deleted] went in [to see] the lady [he/she] was to meet with, [she] told [him/her] [that] things were extremely hectic because they were hiring so many new people, moving people, etc. "So I guess this only validates the fact that they are really in business and doing business, and not a total scam. I'm impressed with the personnel coming on board .... "Also [name deleted] said that the office was huge and very ornate, 10 ft. solid core double doors, marble walls, security gaurd, etc...."
