The following was faxed to my home today:

Dear Friend of Summit Technology:

Summit Technology, Inc. in collaboration with TV Interactive and Dr. Roger Steinert, a Boston, MA based ophthalmologist and Summit user, has completed production of a video News Release (VNR) and B-Roll tape for the cable-based health care program "Healthy Solutions".

Healthy Solutions, hosted by Mariette Hartley, reaches a potential audience of 61 million households on CNBC and another 22 million households on the BRAVO NETWORK. The show will help viewers make the most informed, intelligent choices surrounding health and lifestyle issues. Each episode is issue specific, leading the audience through a specific concern, and concluding with a positive solution.

The episode sponsored by Summit Technology, Inc., "Healthy Solutions" examines refractive disorders, such as myopia, astigmatism and hyperopia, and their relation to current treatments in laser vision correction, such as PRK and LASIK/PRK. During the segment, Dr. Steinert defines the most common disorders and leads the audience through the treatment. The video leads the viewer through a day in the life of a laser vision correction candidate. The steps most commonly taken on the day of treatment are highlighted and what the patient experiences during the procedure, and the elation of the patient on the day following treatment.

The educational episode concentrating on laser vision correction will AIR during the following dates and eastern standard times:

SATURDAY, June 27th at noon on CNBC
MONDAY, June 29th at 8:00am on BRAVO
FRIDAY, July 3rd at 8:00am on BRAVO

In addition to the feature segment, Summit and TV Interactive have created separate Video News Release (VNR), which will be distributed to over 700 broadcast stations via satellite. The satellite up-link will be on July 1st and July 3rd, with hundreds of producers and reporters alerted in ADVANCE which could generate even broader coverage.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Summit is not waiting - its going to create its future! If you have friends that are interested in the procedure, tell them to watch it or record it.
