On January 16, 1998 SBC Warburg Dillon Read . . . highlights: 'A BUY rating was reiterated with a 12-month price target in the range of
$66-$70 per share.

I hope this means Mr. McLellen will use his weight to hit that target.

Perhaps he'll discover ATM cures cancer, impotence, and premature hair loss.

He'd be in trouble if it cured Alzheimer's. :)

Later --

The following from CKEYF's website gives clues to NN's 46020 Network Manager success:

<<<
ÿNetworkWare provides strategic information and competitive strength

Competitive strength in the ever evolving network business hinges on strategic information. As the telecommunications industry adjusts to the realities of global deregulation and liberalization of the marketplace, service providers and their customers are under increasing pressure to create more with less.

For the service provider to stay in business, they must rapidly develop and deliver new products and services, enhance the sales and marketing of their existing products and services, and improve their organization's overall productivity.

Customers are also realizing that with deregulation, their service providers must perform and differentiate their services, or they will be replaced by one that will. Therefore, the customer places more emphasis on the complexity of underlying network infrastructures and the diversity of their traffic types.

Network Management eases the pressure

Network management applications are required to help alleviate the escalating pressures being experienced by service providers, by network operators who must slash overhead, by network planners who must provide new network facilities on demand, and by network engineers who are responsible for improving the overall efficiency and robustness of the network.

Service provider's are now focusing their efforts on network management in an effort to both maintain and strengthen their foothold in the marketplace, and to attempt to ease the mounting pressure caused by deregulation. Network management applications allow service providers to proactively address bandwidth and maintenance issues, and allow them to better control their networks, which in turn provides their customers with useful feedback on how their network is operating.
