Dear Dave, don't undervalue the impact of the strategic alliance between Softimage and Avid. The "twister", "Sumatra" integrate in "digital studio" could be a hit. This situation seems to look like the supremacy of qantel in the 90s attacked by DSLGF. High class post production tools were changing. I've seen many studios buying DSLGF in place of Quantel. The "digital studio" is so cheap that I think the market is dropping by the lowest cost. But I'm still confident about the DSLGF future in the high end quality system. My wife is graphic designer on Flame and inferno.
