Just a "hello" and "luck to us all". After trying to squeeze pretty heavy biotech into a small head for a few days, FINALLY got in today. It's a small position, but I feel good about it and am happy to officially join the group. Thanks so much to those who helped (especially through the Info thread) as I did my research.

Profiteer, You wanted to know why the stock is at this price considering the potential value of the stock. First of all I want to again encourage everyone to come up with their own valuation for the stock. My post was intended to let everyone see how an analyst goes about deriving a potential market value.

Why is the stock only at $1..?

Right now this stock is basically unknown except to the people that read this thread. There has not been any media attention concerning Dr.Drees technology. Any media coverage has been on the unsuccessful attempts by competitors, so anyone potentially looking into blood substitutes has probably been scared off. The newsletter writers are not following this stock as of yet. In other words if you aren't reading this thread you won't know the stock even exist. That is why the stock is so undervalued in relationship to it's potential.

At some point in time a reporter will pick up the story and print it, possibly before the animal trials are over. The successful completion of the animals trials should receive tremendous press coverage. At some point a newsletter writer will pick this up and write a story about it. Word of mouth about the stock will broaden the ownership base. In other words the stock will steadily be recognized, as that happens the price of the stock will continue to rise getting closer to a proper market valuation. This all can happen rather quickly or it can take awhile. The real investor isn't concerned about the time frame just the potential. A true investor will sit on the stock until it reaches it's full value. The stock may take a rise S.T. but don't forget the true L.T. potential here.

I think partly because it has yet to be proven and mass produced.
