Just my opinion...but I believe that Mountain Energy will JV these projects with another company...and will not get into actual coal production themselves....

Ah. I suggested the other day that perhaps they were just in the real estate business.

What you say, you know, has serious implications for the bottom line...

Of course a critical difference between these operations and MTEI is that they have cash flow, tangible capital assets, a workforce in place, customers signed up - why they look like a real going concern, as opposed to MTEI.

So then what we should be valuing MTEI at? If they lease this all out again, it is just the present value of marginal difference in what they are paying for their leases and what they lease it at. So forget the issue of the value of the supposed 200M reserves? Hmmm.

Not exactly what the company has been suggesting in their press releases.

I called MTEI today(1713-334-4111) and when I asked the guy who picked up the phone if I can speak to someone regarding investor relations for MTEI,he told me that the secretary was out now but he'll try to answer any questions I may have, then he said his name was Winston Overstreet. He started telling me that they were out of sync because they're not even finished moving in to their new offices yet.And that right now they are in an agressive acquisition mode.He was as secretive as could be when I asked him about any upcoming news releases. All they are waiting for now is to get the estimated values back from the Stag Engineering group who are doing the estimates.Although he said it's taking a little longer then expected, they have a great reputation and is confident what the results will be.He started telling me how he has over 40 years experience and said if you're in for the long term don't worry. They just need the actual numbers back from the Stag group before they can release it to the public. And that's just for the land!IHe was extremely nice and told me to call back any time.He did'nt really have much time so that's basically all I got.Sounds good to me!
Patience!
