I tried to get some TER July 27.5 Puts (TERSY) on Monday for $2. Came within a teener (and it was the same with the LRCX 22.5s!). Now it's 2 3/4x3 1/8. Oh well. These short recommendations are for very short term trading anyway. Truly the time to short TER was April...

I don't think that it would take much luck for TER to miss a forecast of 34% growth the next couple of quarters. IMHO the lesson to learn from the BTB and KLIC is that earnings are going to tank in the back-end segment the next couple of quarters. Test earnings are much more volatile in the short-term, because of the short order to delivery time.

This is why I don't listen to sell-side analysts. Despite its strong market in IC & telecom, TER is trading at a PEG under .5, not because nobody is watching it, but because these forecasts of 34% growth are practically meaningless.
