You never know what they can get into next. As for AOL, and KO,
yes, with hindsite their potential is obvious, but with AOL from the begining, the shorts have been in AOL in mass, almost hitting record numbers of short positions in one stock, because they could just not see the vision. Only until recently have the institutions been recommending it. It split three times before they got on the bandwagon. As for KO, no one could have forseen the vision of the CEO to include getting into the movie business for a short short while and selling out at a 2 BILLION dollar profit. And IBM, just a few years ago they were tanking, because they missed the boat on PCs because they were a stodgy old company that DIDN"T see the potential of PCs. So there you have it. Hindsight is great. FNTN has a great idea, and if possible may build onto that idea into areas we haven't even thought of. And THATS what makes companies the high fliers. And thats why so many have the stories of "I was in it way back when, but I just didn't see where they were going". Well, NO ONE DID. BUT if you go with the premise of the longs, and only sell
on dramatic changes in management and vision, or the marketplace, then you will be there to enjoy the unanticipated gains from innovations not yet forseen.
