do not confuse prior price performance with safety. amzn is about the riskiest stock on the market now. stocks that have made these kinds of quick up moves often fall just as abruptly.

the fact nearly every bull feels so safe ought to be a great contrary indicator ;-)

With all the bookstores on the net now and with very difficult qtr to qtr comps in a half a year from now I am sure some very smart shorts will get in now and be patient. If I recall they had a smash bang holiday season last year. this holiday season there is tons of competition. If you can take the pain this could be a better short than netscape. (that was very painful at first but very profitable).
