>>>Whom are you expecting to pull you from your lifeboat? <<<

All investors who lost money--some who've sold out and some who are still in--prior to Wired's and Stock Detectives tooth-pullers. The ones in the lifeboats are as follows (and they're too numerous to mention all):

Maybe some who had a little bit of money (but not enough to average down as the price came down) and believed in the company; maybe some small-level employees of the company; maybe some who don't get to invest from a position of convenience; maybe some who just got inheritance money and are unfamiliar with the stock market; maybe some who don't still yet know how to use a computer; maybe some who just happened to be out of the country, in military service or a hospitalization; maybe some who were doing investing because somebody else suggested that they do it and that somebody else happened not to be around when the boat sunk--I could go on and on, Aleta. They're out there. And, overall, you haven't been very sympathetic to their plight, whether you realize it or not.

Because you hadn't fully bought in, beyond a day trade or two (and what are you going to root for when you do that?), your remarks tended to be disparaging rather than hopeful, even in the face of good work by the company.

Why do you think Joe Copia jumped back in so strongly. He recognized the good work of the company.

No, I'm not going to print publicly letters that people have sent to me privately. Some of them are complimentary and I don't want to toot my own horn. If you're insistent, however, I'll mail you a couple privately.

By the way, it's the ones that couldn't swim that really got screwed!

There's plenty of cause for small claims complaints due to what Wired and Stock Detective did, in my view.
