Ariella, I heard that a couple of people made a ton of money by exercising their $2 TDFX options for $22 as well as some that bought at the IPO $8 sold at 22. One of them was going to build a nice mansion over the Pacific coastline in CA on top of the hill. ( Asking price $25 mill, reduced to 20 after intense bargaining ); furnishings not included .Allegedly he was tired of living in the apartment he'd rented while going through Stanford Univ for his MS Computer Sciences and said " I can afford to get out of this dump now and move up " are said to be his last words. ( Incidentally these happened to be the exact same words that Marc Andriessen - of Netscape founder fame- pronounced as he got on his Toyota,, out of HIS alleged "dump", after the Netscape IPO in 95 ). Another guy felt the same way but bought a yacht instead ( $ 8 mill ) and plans to live there part time. HIS last words were " I am cashing in guys "!! These are the only two I've heard off. However I must add that my source for this is not very trustworthy so I would take all this info with a grain of salt,and some suspicion, TA
