hi zack:

you have to understand that i also use Metastock to compliment my Adv GET. i dont think Adv GET ALONE can do all that i want it to do. i use metastock for the trends and plotting.. and then do Adv GET for the precise entry/exits and accuracy/support/resistance/tgt prices.

so with that said, from that stand point that you only have GET as your charting tool:

i would look at several things.. only you know what is right for you:

look at parabolic SAR.. optimze it.
look at osc 5/35 or 10/70 to see if the "larger buyers" are in BUY mode.
plot 9 day ema. as long as it hold abv it, then it will go up.

again, i have other custom indicators in metastock to help me with your question.. But you must have metastock to use it.

hope it helps.

this is a metastock chart of IBM as well.
notice i drew a similar trend channel.

geocities.com

(not current data!)

i have the 9 day ema plotted. notice how ibm held abv it all the way.

GET's regression channel is tighter than what i drew.
