stockroach,

wait until the tech dust settles in mid to late July

Does this mean you think the last two day's market rally is a bull trap? If so do you expect the market to rebound before earnings in July? or do you think earnings will be a non factor this quarter in general?

thanks, RS

Hi stockroach,

Kind of interesting that there was a huge increase in short interest in TDFX in May. viwes.com Always kind of hard figuring how short interest will affect stock prices. Unexpected good news can blow the top off it when shorts panic and head for the door all at once. On the other hand there seems to be a lot of folks that are expecting them to get hammered.

FWIW the Nikkei is up 642 points and the Heng Seng is up 511. Speaking of short covering. What was that sucking sound we heard all last week. Lots of gloom and doom about a crisis in Asia that will end life as we know it on Wall Street. This market has been sucking in both directions lately, but it looks like the bears got their feet caught in the trap on this round. Dow at 9300 by Friday?

Regards,

Don
