perhaps using options to limit risk is better than tying up all your capital. reality will hit. nobody will actually sign on the dotted line. btw, where was everyone when aol was $15 not too long ago? oh, it just became a buy AFTER everyone else bid it up... there i go again ;-) good luck.

>> I am now considering going long on aol(which I shorted and rode up from 53 to 63 until I got stopped out). Please save me from my irrational implses! <<

Man, when the shorts start considering long positions, it's time to short!

When this entire thread converts into AMZN longs, the price will inevitably tank along with the entire internet sector. You just can't win!

AT&T wants to buy aol at these hyper-inflated prices
and aol refuses to dance! f***king incredible.
I aint shorting no more internet stocks. Till today I felt that I
was a sane person in a herd of mo mo buy buy gamblers. I have been
wrong. Fundamentals really don't matter anymore. These guys are out there
trying to carve out empires for themselves, w/o any regards to
earnings.

Hmmmm. I smell capitulation. Shorts are giving up (I gave up a long time ago {at $49}, since my pain threshold is low). The top must be near...
