ML drops eps est on KO, (yesterdays news)

The strong dollar also prompted Merrill Lynch to cut its earnings
forecast
for carbonated beverages marketer Coca-Cola Co. (NYSE: KO),
sending its
shares down $13/16 to $78 1/2. The firm's fiscal 1998 earnings estimate
was
cut to $1.60 per share from $1.65 per share, while the fiscal 1999
estimate
was scaled back to $1.80-$1.85 per share from $1.90-$1.95 per share.

Maybe we'll
have a delayed reaction. Same with INTC. Maybe we'll
reach a critical mass of lowered est.
