Everyone else has posted their theories, so here's mine. Internet-hyped stocks vacuumed up TDFX -- i.e., some one or more institutional investors dumped their stakes in TDFX and plowed it into AOL, AMZN, or ??? How can they sit by while the Internet sector gains 5-10% per day?

The time was ripe for a shakeout in TDFX anyway. Either this was a great buying OP and I'll buy my new car out of this or my kids will have to settle on a community college.
