John... I did see that comment regarding an acquisition and I hope they stand by their comment. Do you have any feel for CPQ's performance on Triple Friday? El

John - Lutz came from Unisys where he had a mixed record. He scored some notable successes at CPQ (he had a big part in lining up the RBOCs around the DSL initiative, which was considered pretty hard to do). But he never got traction as a product line guy, and at CPQ the proof is in the numbers. I suspect he was asked to consider other career options but don't know that for sure. I know most of the other recent exec departures were at the suggestion of the top management.
