That the MMS bid it up with fake volume between themselves? or is there something I am missing?

Actually, I noticed a slight minute or so delay on my quote system.
This is an exchange stock so I don't see what prevented people from
placing limit orders at 89. My guess is that there was so much hype
generated and reports of AOL trading at 93 in London and on instanet
that very few people had such orders.
